The blade has an ultra-thin diamond layer of 1.1 mm (the world's thinnest) that allows for precise and delicate cutting. 
In the steel core of the blade there is a "window" that allows control of the cutting line. Thin cutting in sections allows efficient cutting of the cutting layer and provides stability in the cutting.
